Santorini, Greece
Tranquility and quietude might not be the first words that spring to mind when thinking of the Greek island of Santorini, or Thíra. But travel to Santorini in wintertime, and a different side of the island reveals itself.

Marrakech, Morocco
Marrakech is a city that heightens your senses constantly. The colors of the buildings, the smell and taste of the oriental food, even the feel of the materials the Boucharouite carpets are woven from. Fortunately, Marrakech is also a city that harbors a lot of places that offer a serene moment of quiet to collect ones bearings. Welcoming places such as palaces, gardens, roof-top terraces, hamams and riads, traditional Moroccan houses.

Morocco, Legzira
Turning my lens towards rust-coloured stone arches, sculpted over time by water and wind. The whimsy and wonder of Morocco’s sweeping coves leave me in awe — a feeling that challenges my understanding of the natural world. Its forceful presence, set against my own insignificance, feels strangely comforting.
