In an ongoing cyanotype project, I explore a centuries-old photographic process through a contemporary lens. I am drawn to the technique itself and the rich, deep blue that emerges as part of the process. Then there is the element of surprise — never quite knowing how each print will turn out or what (im)perfections will appear.
